Seiko Design Exhibition Features Club DJ Watch
A now-concluded design exhibition in Tokyo featured a cool watch for DJ's
Seiko watches held a design exposition in Tokyo which extended from December 2024 to February 2025.
Much like an automobile trade show with their ‘concept cars’, this show featured prototype Seiko watches that may or may not ever get made.
One clever watch from this show was the “Specialized Club Watch for DJ’s”.
“"The dial features a thoughtfully designed layout that seamlessly combines Lumibrite and fluorescent paint. The appearance of the watch transforms dynamically, not only shifting between day and night, but also revealing its "perfect form" when illuminated by the black light commonly found in music clubs.”
Hidden and only visible under black light are markers that count time between midnight and six AM.
Though bright and futuristic, this watch is powered entirely by a mechanical movement.
No word on whether this watch will ever be made for paying customers, or if it will remain a prototype.

That DJ watch is awesome! My girlfriend, who's a musician, has a Seiko metronome watch that she loves.
